Front Desk Manager with a passion for service and leadership for Plesner's Badehotel in Skagen

Are you a natural host who thrives on responsibility, and can you motivate your team to deliver exceptional experiences? Plesners Badehotel in Skagen is looking for a dedicated and organized Front Desk Manager to lead our front-of-house operations.

As the Front Desk Manager at Plesner’s Badehotel in Skagen, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the front desk and for managing the front desk team. You will play a key role in ensuring a professional guest experience and a high level of service.

Your primary responsibilities

  • Management and Motivation: Responsible for shift scheduling, recruitment, training, and day-to-day management of 5 employees
  • The Guest Experience: Ensuring a high level of service and handling complex guest inquiries with a smile
  • Operational Optimization: Optimizing work processes, including the management of the Picasso booking system and the Salto key system, as well as invoicing
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain and develop standards for service and professionalism at the front desk
  • Collaboration: Close communication with other departments, such as housekeeping, sales, the technical department, and the kitchen, to ensure a smooth workflow
  • Employee Coaching and Motivation – Conducting Performance Reviews
  • Joint responsibility for recruiting and training new employees
  • Coverage of shifts during sick leave
  • Create a schedule in Planday
  • YieldPlanet, Corporate Agreements, Allotment Management
  • Ordering various office supplies/keys

We imagine that you…

  • Has experience in a similar position, preferably as a front desk manager or supervisor at a hotel or in a large company
  • Is a strong communicator who speaks and writes fluently in Danish and English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus)
  • Has a natural ability to keep track of everything—even when things are hectic and the phones are ringing
  • Is solution-oriented, empathetic, and able to create a positive work environment for your team
  • Has solid experience with IT systems; experience with the Picasso Hotel booking system is a plus but not required + administrative tasks
