Meetings and conferences at the Maskinrummet Experience Center – in the heart of Skagen
When you choose the Maskinrummet Experience Center as the setting for your meeting or conference, you get more than just a room—you get an experience in the heart of Skagen's maritime environment, where the sea, the light, and history create an atmosphere that inspires new ideas.
Centrally located on the harbor in Skagen, the Maskinrummet Experience Center provides a unique setting for meetings and events. Here, historical machine technology and innovation merge with contemporary design and communication in a vibrant building covering more than 10,000 m². The exhibition features over 500 engines from shipping, agriculture, and industry, including engines from well-known manufacturers such as BUKH, B&W, and Frichs. You can experience stationary engines and marine engines powered by gasoline, diesel, or gas, as well as agricultural machinery and power plant engines.
In addition to the engines, you can see a large collection of vintage vehicles, motorcycles, classic cars, and mopeds. There are also more than 1,500 maritime and agricultural items, ranging from model ships and bottle ships to boilers, tools, and nameplates.
Modern meeting facilities with sea views
At the top of the center, you will find meeting and conference rooms with space for large and small groups. The largest room can accommodate up to around 500 participants, depending on the layout. The rooms are fully equipped with modern AV technology and wireless internet.
Catering and accommodation
Catering is provided in collaboration with Plesners Badehotel, located nearby. The restaurant takes care of everything from morning coffee and lunch to dinner, creating a gastronomic experience that matches your meeting program.
After the meeting day, participants can stay overnight at Plesners Badehotel, which is owned by the same group of owners as the Maskinrummet Experience Center. This makes it easy to combine professional development with relaxation: cozy rooms, fresh sea air, and a delicious breakfast await you the next day.
Flexible experiences
Between meetings, participants can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the harbor promenade or simply rest their eyes on the maritime view. If you would like a guided tour, you can purchase access to the engine room, where you will gain fascinating insights into the history of engines, how they work, and the development of the exhibition.
No two meetings are alike, which is why we always plan in close consultation with you. Whether you want to focus on a specific topic, foster a sense of community, or celebrate, we tailor a program that matches your ambitions and creates value.
